Restorative urban spaces invite individuals from different cultural and economic backgrounds to an area where social barriers are broken and people can share, interact and explore the many ways that make us human. Our team is equipped to take development processes from A-Z. The goal is multifunctional and multisensorial approaches to program and urban space leading to organic shifts in social inclusion and connectivity.




Urban Space Activation



The space and the experience of a space are choices we can actively make. It is not enough to simply design great places, but to deliberately program open areas with a calendar of activity that ranges week to week, night vs. day, and between seasons. This program, which allows for pre-planned and unforeseen activity, promotes new user behavior untethered to aesthetic fixity and program. We provide research and consulting services that result in physical, tangible treatments that activate and sustain engagement within physical areas.
